A moment when prevalent predicaments were coming to the front by demolishing the lives and properties in the society a group of dedicated people started dreaming up in changing the face of millions of lives. It was their effort to initiate welfare measures to mitigate the sufferings of the rural as well as urban slums and came in direct contact with general mass. It was realized that the forces of modernization, industrialization have not been able to remove poverty and exploitation in the society as observed from the field level interaction and perception at service delivery outlets.  A large segment of the people of our state does live in a horrendous situation of poverty. In order to improve their living condition the above group of dedicated personalities put their hands together and decided to form a voluntary organization named “Save the World Against Pollution, Narcotics and Ammunition- (SWAPNA). Amongst them two leading personalities namely Mr. Sritam Das and Miss Usasi Misra strongly boasted for social work being Film Artists. Miss Usasi Mishra , the President of SWAPNA says--------------

 is a voluntary, charitable, non-profit making, non-political and non-sectarian organization pledged to the service of the community irrespective of caste, creed, colour and sex. Not only this, but the organization has become a leading one in implementing various health related projects getting in touch with the social development strata where it gives voice to the voiceless and smile to the depressed.

At the same time, some like-minded corporate professionals and technocrats, decided to finance, handhold and support genuine grassroots' initiatives targeted at providing education and health to underprivileged sector , conduct various welfare programs and create awareness on various issues across the state as well as in the country.
